Application Notifications
Notifications and alerts have been common ask from the user community, The Application notifications feature provide users with the ability to subscribe-to and receive notifications. The notifications and alerts are displayed in a streamline way directly on the menu bar, ensuring users receive timely updates without disrupting their workflow. Notifications can be triggered for standard predefined conditions, such as system warnings, process updates, or messages reminders, as well as for custom conditions tailored to specific project requirements. This flexible approach allows organizations to configure alerts based on their operational needs, improving visibility and responsiveness to critical events. By centralizing notifications in the menu bar, users can quickly access relevant information, enhancing productivity and decision-making while keeping important updates readily available.
The Frozen Operation enhancement introduces a new Transaction WIP Details status called ‘Fixed’, which allows operations to be locked in place, preventing any material or capacity constraints from affecting them. With this update, once an operation is designated as Fixed, it remains unchanged in the planning process, enabling more stability in execution while permitting pegging violations if necessary. This flexibility ensures that critical operations can proceed as planned, even if upstream dependencies or resource limitations exist, making it particularly useful in scenarios where strategic overrides are necessary to maintain production schedules. By eliminating automatic adjustments to material and capacity availability, this enhancement provides greater control over workflow consistency and operational predictability.
