We are excited to announce that InSync’s iPlanner Axis HANA is now part of SAP’s Industry Cloud portfolio providing a solution extension to SAP’s S/4 and IBP addressing complex operational planning requirements. As part of SAP’s Industry Cloud ecosystem, iPlanner enhances supply chain visibility, operational agility, and efficiency by integrating seamlessly with SAP’s enterprise solutions. This inclusion empowers businesses with advanced planning capabilities, enabling them to optimize workflows, improve decision-making, and adapt to market demands with precision.
To enable companies to become intelligent enterprises, SAP is expanding its vertical solutions with an ecosystem of industry cloud solutions. The solutions leverage SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), with advanced technologies, and are interoperable with SAP’s intelligent suite. This marks another milestone in InSync’s commitment to driving digital transformation and redefining the future of intelligent supply chain management.

Advanced Filter Navigation
We know relationships can be difficult and defining them clearly can be challenging. We improved how relationships are created between parent and child. Some might be disappointed that enhanced relationship definition is limited to workbenches and does not define human relations, but the team decided it is best to stay in our supply chain lane. With the new advanced filter capabilities complex relations can be defined which will improve workflows. There is the ability to create relations between multiple fields as well as use operators for defining how to further combine grouping together.
In line with the team’s objectives to enhance interoperability, extend clients integration options, provide flexibility and extensibility, and simplify data management there is official support for bulk import/export of XML files. The allow clients to leverage existing XML files and benefit from XML’s ability to provide a structured, standardized, and flexible format for representing and exchanging data. With XML’s customization and extension it enable clients to adapt the format to their specific needs into iPlanner and from iPlanner to their other system landscape or with trading partners.

We feel strongly that history is important and something very important to safeguard, study and learn from. Looking at history allow us to see how past events, decisions, and data have shaped outcomes/results, how it will continue to affect the future/plan, revealing patterns and learning about connections that might otherwise be invisible. It is important to learn from our mistakes and shortcomings so that we can avoid repeating them and continuously improve. Similarly, through studying archives we might be able to isolate/ recognize the secret sauces and actions that made success possible in an attempt to replicate and build on the successes. As a small bow to the value of history we decided to introduce the Archive Files. This is an improvement to the bulk import process that allow archiving and retaining files that were imported to iPlanner.
